THAT was an update?

7.10.2012

I sometimes laugh at myself when I look back through the old blog posts. This is one of those times. Shortly after moving into the Chouse, I shared an update of the dining room 'progress'.... and looking at it today I'm like WTF. The pics are so.... sad! I totally get why I was proud- moving is a B and once you actually get something accomplished you feel so great. Get it.

Here is the dining room today. Not perfect- but so much better!

More pics.

If you follow me on Twitter, then you know that the Hubs recently vetoed me painting our chandelier... this was upsetting. His reasoning? "Most people don't have the vision that you do, babe." Translation: Ummm you must be cray.

No but seriously, not all potential buyers have my taste. And I'm ok with that.

SO- that just makes me think that once we get into a house we plan on being in for a while, I plan on going CRAZY, people. Just crazy. With the decorating, that is. Are you reading this Hubs? Prepare yourself. There will be peacock blue chandeliers. And wallpaper. And other things that I haven't even thought of yet mmmmmk?

That is the end of my rant today. Loves.

  1. Hahaha! I'm curious to know what color you wanted to paint the chandelier!
But the dining room looks great, Emily. :)

  3. Elizabeth- it was peacock blue!! Too bad that's not happening, would have been fab.

Sarah- Thank you! The Chouse definitely lacks storage, so I hauled these Ikea shelves up with me. They are super helpful.
