Since my friend is doing a 'nest' theme for her nursery, we decided to use that theme for the shower as well. She is having a little girl, but isn't using the traditional pink (which I love that idea!) and instead will be using creams, browns and pops of turqouise. I think its going to be fab.

The shower will be in a gorgeous back yard. Love this whole look (minus the boa... just saying).
We are pairing flowers with fabric-covered birdhouses for centerpieces, and one of my best friends did a test run on these here.
Another one of my friends is going to attempt to make these cute little guys. They are cakeballs. Keep me away from them- I have a thing for sweets.
The tissue paper balls are so easy to make and really make such a great impact! I am getting so excited to get started on the decor :)
Can't wait for May 22 to see how it all turns out!

I hope it's okay that I'm seeing this, but I assume it is since you know that I read your blog. I have the biggest smile on my face and I can't wait until May 22nd to celebrate Avery Elizabeth with my best friends! You girls are going to throw the best party!
