Orange Chair love

8.01.2012

In the ongoing battle I call Emily vs. CraigList, at first brush it might appear that CraigsList is winning because I obsessively check it and oftentimes am not rewarded for my efforts. But I actually am winning...... bc every so often I find fabulous items such as the ones below. For $40.

Boo-yah St. Louis area CraigsList. You just cannot beat that price for a great pair of chairs. Love the barrel back, love the color (Go Pokes!!). I'm thinking I will leave them as is -shocker!- but depending on the condition of the wood, I might have to use this tutorial to touch them up.

All searching and no finding makes Emily a dull girl. Good thing I am incredibly patient stubborn and kept with the "pair of chairs" search that has continually yielded results such as:

Heinous.

ANYWAY! Here are some fab spaces that feature orange chairs.

The Hubs is getting some brownie points and picking them up for me on Friday. Can't wait to have these chairs in our space :)

Do you all peruse CL as much as I do? Any crazy good finds I need to hear about?

  2. Haha TOO funny -- I search Craigslist for "pair of chairs" weekly. I've found ones similar to yours but for WAY more expensive, great find!
